It’s 2 a.m. and I can’t sleep. Instead I scrub the tiny peanut butter fingerprints off my sofa for the 100th time. Will I ever learn? But as I clean, I’m thinking of you and praying for you.
My heart and prayer is that you will find encouragement among the posts and refreshment for your busy life. May the grace of Jesus Christ overwhelm you and chase you down. May His new mercies drench and saturate every layer of your heart, drawing you to Himself.
May Jesus, the Artist, take his brush and paint your weaknesses into beautiful strengths as you learn to depend on his love and grace.
I pray you win the battle against condemnation and fear and hear His voice whispering to you, “It is finished. You are loved.” May you never exchange your work for God over your worship of Him.
It’s my sincerest hope you will live the abundant life Christ died to give you. That you would recognize, all is grace. Even on your ugliest days, I pray that you would see the beauty of Christ staring back at you.
May your seeking never turn into striving. I pray you won’t eat the “yeast of the Pharisees,” but instead take the gentle, humble path of the upside-down kingdom of God.
Oh that God would give you eyes to “see and savor”* Jesus Christ again as if for the first time. May wonder flood your heart springing up into fountains of worship.
Many blessings friends.
In this blog I will share with you my story as we walk this dirt road of life together. Let’s be real. Let’s take our masks off. After all, the love of God has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit. It is by grace we’re saved!
